'Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair automotive and small diesels (light towers, Pumps, Generators) HD GM pickup trucks and trailers.
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Assist in the assembly and disassembly of machinery as needed.
- Support the organization’s commitment to quality service delivery.
- 'Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role, preferably with dealership background.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in automotive repair.
- Experience working with heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, or Caterpillar machinery is an asset.
- Proficiency with schematics, electrical systems, and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Valid driver’s license
