The Fundraising Organizer supports WINS Fund Development team by coordinating fundraising activities, maintaining donor and partner records, assisting with donor stewardship, researching funding opportunities, and supporting fundraising events. This role provides valuable experience in nonprofit fundraising, community partnerships, event coordination, and database management.

Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 32 hours per week, for 8 weeks
Wage: $16.00 per hour
Partnership Development & Fundraising:
- Completion of assigned administrative and coordination activities in support of corporate partners, partner campaigns and initiatives, and partnership development. This may include coordination and execution of partner campaigns, donor stewardship calls/plans, attending meetings and onsite at third party event locations, and other project coordination all while delivering high-level service to donors, sponsors, and partners.

Supporting the Fund Development Team with donor stewardship, database entries, and other administrative tasks.

Develop company prospecting lists

Research and draft small grant applications.

Maintaining and updating pertinent information on donors, contacts, and prospects into SalesForce (SF) database.
Event Planning & Execution:
- Assist with new signature event in solicitation of silent and live auction items, raffle item(s) and track, pick up and complete the administrative duties required.

Create volunteer job descriptions for the event volunteers, ensuring clear communication and responsibilities.

Lead/support corporate events (set-up equipment, facilitate activities, take-down, etc.)
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency with basic office procedures.

Oral and written communication skills.

Organizational skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office 365: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Knowledge of standard office equipment.

Able to provide satisfactory results of a police clearance check.

Superb organization and planning skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a vibrant, fast-paced environment.

Provide administrative support to the fund development team.

Schedule meetings, prepare materials, and manage correspondence.

Keep files on the online filing system (SharePoint) organized and labeled according to accepted nomenclature

Updating team calendar and scheduling team meetings/events

Maintaining organization of Fund Development event materials in storage

A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is an asset
