Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable licensed or experienced carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in blueprint reading, concrete forming, restoration, siding, carpentry, and the use of various hand and power tools. This role involves performing diverse construction tasks, heavy lifting, and operating heavy equipment to ensure the successful completion of projects. Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction tasks or free build as required to or above NBCA standards
- Perform restoration/renovation, Framing, siding installation, Windows, Decks, roofing, ect..
- Use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment to complete assigned duties
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks working at hights in various weather conditions and temperatures.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite to promote safety and efficiency
Experience
- Proven experience in construction or carpentry roles with knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics
- Hands-on experience with concrete, siding installation, and restoration projects preferred
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and use of hand tools and power tools .
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods
- Prior work involving woodworking or structural framing is advantageous
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites is essential
- Class 5 drivers license is a must.
- Clean criminal record
- Some travel required.
