What You'll Do
As a Budtender at Double Puffz Cannabis Inc., you'll play a key role in creating a friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming environment for our customers.
Customer Experience
- Greet customers warmly and create a positive, engaging store atmosphere.
- Build genuine connections by chatting with customers and learning about their preferences and experiences.
- Educate customers on cannabis products, including terpenes, cannabinoid profiles, THC/CBD levels, and strain characteristics.
- Recommend products tailored to each customer's needs and comfort level.
- Stay up to date with new cannabis products, brands, and industry trends.
Compliance & Sales
- Follow all company policies and Ontario cannabis regulations.
- Verify IDs and ensure responsible cannabis sales.
- Maintain secure and compliant retail operations.
Store Organization & Operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting retail environment.
- Keep displays stocked, labeled, and visually appealing.
- Organize the stockroom and process new inventory shipments.
- Assist with inventory counts and discrepancy reporting.
- Perform daily operational tasks, including labeling products, organizing stock, breaking down boxes, cleaning displays, and taking out garbage.
Team Support
- Complete tasks assigned by store management.
- Follow company training, operational procedures, and best practices.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture.

Mandatory Requirements
- Must be 19 years of age or older.
- Valid CannSell Certification (required before training).
- Valid Criminal Background Check (required prior to employment if selected).
- Minimum 1 year of retail or customer service experience.
- Ability to comply with all Ontario cannabis regulations.
Position Details
- Job Type: Part-Time
- Location: Scarborough, ON
- Pay: $18.00–$19.00 per hour
- Store Hours: Open daily from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
- Shift Availability: Applicants must be available to work flexible shifts between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Typical shift times include 7:00 AM–12:00 PM, 12:00 PM–6:00 PM, and 6:00 PM–11:00 PM, though schedules may vary based on business needs.
