Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to oversee daily food operations in a dynamic restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food industry knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining efficient restaurant operations. Previous restaurant management, food handling, and hospitality experience are highly valued. The Kitchen Supervisor will play a vital role in fostering a positive team environment and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and service.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards
- Manage food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Assist with training new team members
- Monitor inventory levels.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas in accordance with safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Lead by example in hospitality, serving guests efficiently and courteous
- Support restaurant management in implementing policies and procedures to improve overall performance
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within the food service or restaurant industry
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Previous restaurant management or hospitality experience preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Experience in interviewing and onboarding new employees is advantageous
- Familiarity with the food industry trends and best practices in restaurant management
Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
