What You Will Be Doing as a Bilingual National Account Manager – Air + Water:
We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused National Account Manager – Air + Water to lead our strategic partnership with one of our most important national customers.
In this role, you will be responsible for strengthening executive-level relationships, expanding category share, driving joint business planning, and delivering profitable growth across Air and Water portfolios. You will serve as the central point of coordination between us and our National Customer, ensuring alignment on commercialization strategy, supply execution, promotional programs, and long-term channel development.

National Account Ownership - Sales Performance
o Own national sales performance for the Air + Water portfolio, including revenue, profitability, share growth, and forecast accuracy.
o In partnership with the Director of Sales and Marketing, develop and execute national account strategies and joint business plans to meet financial, operational, and market share objectives.
o Lead annual planning, quarterly business reviews, and ongoing performance analysis, ensuring program commitments and growth plans remain on track.
o Analyze account performance vs. objectives; identify gaps; implement corrective actions to optimize results.
Account Strategy, Coverage - Program Execution
o Develop and execute a comprehensive National Account coverage plan, ensuring consistent engagement across corporate, regional, branches
o Proactively support all divisions and regions with product positioning, program education, and commercial execution.
o Deliver compelling presentations of our programs, initiatives, and value propositions tailored to customers segments and verticals.
o Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders to track performance, align on targets, and guide field execution.
Market Development - Competitive Insight
o Expand our position by identifying whitespace opportunities, margin improvement levers, and category growth initiatives.
o Strengthen relationships with key branches, regional leaders, and influencers who directly impact product mix and adoption.
o Provide market intelligence on competition, pricing, assortment, customer trends, and emerging risks/opportunities.
o Lead or support training and product-knowledge sessions with
teams to enhance product capability and sell-through effectiveness.
o Maintain accurate documentation of competitive activity, lost business, and market shifts impacting customers performance.
Sales Administration - Business Reporting
o Complete all required reporting, including sales call summaries, monthly commentary, and executive-level business updates.
o Coordinate our presence at customer-related conferences, trade shows, and workshops; document outcomes and next-step actions.
o Ensure responsible management of company assets, expenses, and promotional budgets tied to customer programs.
o Support completion of Growth Development Program (GDP) initiatives and other special projects as assigned.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
o Partner closely with Sales Agents, RCL Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Operations, Technical, Customer Service, and Warranty teams to deliver unified and coordinated experience for our customer.
o Champion the voice of Customer within our company to influence product needs, supply priorities, and channel-specific initiatives.
o Drive continuous improvement in joint execution, service levels, and long-term strategic alignment.
Account Planning - Professional Development
o Build and maintain a multi-year strategic account plan, including customer call objectives, program milestones, and growth pathways.
o Take active ownership of personal training, product knowledge, and professional development to support evolving account and market needs.
o Perform additional duties as required to support overall National
Account strategy and organizational goals.
o Other assigned duties as deemed necessary.
What You Should Have, as a National Account Manager – Air + Water:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
5-7+ years of experience in National Account Management, Key Account Management, Strategic Sales, or Channel/Distribution sales within a B2B environment.
Demonstrated success managing large national or multi-region accounts, delivering revenue growth, and executing joint business plans.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret sales data, market trends, pricing dynamics, and customer performance metrics to drive decision-making.
Proven ability to build and sustain executive-level customer relationships, influence internal and external stakeholders, and navigate complex organizations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver compelling commercial proposals and business cases.
Highly organized and effective at project management, with experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product teams.
Proficiency with CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Bonus Points For:
Experience working with distribution partners or national wholesalers.
Background in HVAC, plumbing, building products, or a related technical industry.
Experience using productivity or collaboration tools such as Smartsheet, Power BI, or Adobe Suite.
Familiarity with category management, assortment planning, or market development strategies in a national account environment.
