We are seeking a Registered Psychotherapist who is willing to provide both in-person and virtual sessions at our Beamsville and Smithville locations. Beamsville will be the primary location
DUTIES
- Conduct therapy sessions with clients (individual and couples)
- Develop and maintain goal-oriented treatment plans based on client needs
- Provide counselling and support to clients dealing with mental health challenges
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to assist clients in achieving their goals
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Stay up-to-date with trainings and best practices in psychotherapy
- Manage session notes, client rebooking at the end of the session
Note: We handle the rest; admin, billing, and scheduling support are taken care of by our team.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Registration
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counselling Psychology, or a related field
- Active registration with an appropriate governing body (CRPO)
Experience
- Minimum 4 years of post-internship clinical experience
- Experience conducting individual and couples therapy sessions
- Mature therapist with life experience and strong self-awareness
Skills & Approach
- Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish rapport and build trust with clients
- Empathy and compassion for clients experiencing mental health challenges
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Commitment
- Must be willing to commit to the practice for a minimum of 3 years
- Please do not apply if you currently own your own practice or are planning to open one within the next 3 years
COMPENSATION
Pay: $90-$105 flat fee per session
Expected offered hours: 15 – 25 hours per week
Start date: July 15, 2026
SCHEDULE
- Day shifts
- Evening shifts
- 2 weekend days per month, hours to be discussed
