To provide efficient and courteous delivery and pickup of our products to customers across the Vancouver area keeping business expansion we are looking for Warehouse- Order Pickers -Full time to serve our customers.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accurately receives and effectively puts away products in shelves/racks in a timely manner
- Accurately pick and prepare customer orders to meet the shipping cutoff time and process orders according to all regulatory standards
- Arrange, re-arrange, and replenish stock to create an appealing and well-stocked environment for the warehouse team
- Sort and load customer orders by the route and stop sequence number identified on the shipping label
- Ability to communicate effectively with the warehouse manager and other order pickers
- Physically fit to perform heavy to moderate-heavy repetitive work
- Report all receiving discrepancies
- Segregate and label products received, stock products into designated areas verify the SKU and quantity accuracy
- Keep the Warehouse/transport manager informed of delays or waiting while on your picking orders
- Make sure that you follow ALL Company procedures that are in place
- Follow the safety at work
- Perform basic housekeeping in assigned area of the warehouse
- Perform other duties as required or assigned
Job Requirements:
- Minimum age of 19 years
- Safety conscious
- Willing to work 4.00 PM to 12.30 AM or Night Shift from 9.00 PM to 5.30 AM
- Flexible to work on 4 weekdays and 1 weekend day
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to become certified in the operation of warehouse equipment’s Forklift/Power Jack operational familiarity will be an added advantage (Yen Bros. can provide certification)
- Minimum 1-2 years of prior work experience (Warehouse Experience will be preferred)
- The ability to lift/unload from 20 Lbs. to 80 Lbs. on a consistent basis
- Good attendance record
- Energetic and carry a positive work ethic
- Able to Speak, read and comprehend English
- Ability to establish and maintain an effective and professional working relationship with customers, employees and warehouse managers
- Ability to multitask and deal with constant and demanding warehouse traffic conditions
- Ability to work independently and as part of team
- High level of integrity and carry excellent work ethic
Working conditions:
- Week shift schedule of 5 or 6 days a week- weekend shifts are mandatory
- Overtime as required
- Exposure to wet/cold warehouse conditions
- Exposure to mobile equipment traffic and noise conditions
- Physically demanding- required a long period of standing and walking
- Required to do heavy to moderate lifting on a constant basis
Pay: $18.50-$19.50 per hour
