Due to strong growth and excellent results, Cloverdale Paint Inc. has an incredible opportunity for a full time Machine Operator/Filler at our facility in Oakville, ON.
We are looking for someone to work full-time hours weekly. This role requires the successful candidate to work 10-hour shifts (4) times a week and availability to work afternoon shifts.
Shift hours are weekday evenings from 3:00 pm to 1:00 am.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate equipment as per work instructions
- Fill paints into various containers to the correct level
- Verify fill weights by checking weight
- Ensure the correct filter is used as specified
- Verify containers are properly sealed and labelled
- Record all information required by the batch card
- Provide samples to the QC Department for evaluation as appropriate
- Assist with department clean up at end of week
- Follow all safe operating procedures
- Daily maintenance of production equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment in accordance with housekeeping standards
- Other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-secondary education or equivalent
- Strong communication skills, and competence in math and numeric comprehension
- Experience working in a production environment
- Ability to lift up to 70lb regularly
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience in operating electric walkie riders and reach trucks
- Excellent attendance and work record
- Comfortable in a Hazardous Chemical environment
- Ability to follow instructions and be self-motivated
- Ability to be trained and certified on mobile equipment
- Available for shift work and overtime
- Strong work ethic, with a can-do attitude
Physical Demands of Position
The essential function of this position involves physical duties, including the regular lifting, carrying, and moving of paint containers and related products weighing up to 70 pounds individually or with appropriate lifting equipment when required.
The successful candidate must be able to safely perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, in accordance with applicable human rights legislation.
