The Role:
We're looking for a self-motivated, superstar Pharmacist to join the amazing Pocketpills team.
Job Duties:
- Provide virtual consultation including minor ailment assessments and answer medication-related questions through various mediums efficiently and courteously
- Perform clinical verifications for prescriptions on time to ensure efficient operations
- Conduct technical checks on medication orders in an efficient manner
- Provide coaching and guidance to pharmacy team members to improve the pharmacy processes
- Provide guidance to pharmacy students through shadowing opportunities, direct coaching, and timely, constructive feedback to support their learning and professional growth.
- Partner with pharmacy manager and operations management to review processes regularly to ensure optimal efficiency, effectiveness and embrace continuous improvement
- Review escalated issues for resolution. Interface with patients and team members as needed to resolve
- Ensure compliance with applicable Federal and Provincial laws, rules and regulations
- Do anything in your capacity to make sure that the patient is never out of medications.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
- Licensed pharmacist (Part A) in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
- Passion for providing optimal patient-centered care to all patients
- Ability to achieve results with a strong sense of urgency and a "can-do" attitude.
- Quick to adapt to evolving technology and able to troubleshoot or navigate systems without letting it impact performance.
- Detail-oriented with a collaborative, team-first approach and positive attitude
- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of urgency and commitment to results
- Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
- Flexible and responsive to changing priorities and business needs
- Strong time management and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication abilities

The annual compensation for this full time position ranges from $46.00 to $50.00 per hour and is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and alignment to the market.
