We are seeking a dynamic Junior Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, the Junior Sous Chef will assist the Chef in overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety, and managing kitchen staff. Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef in developing menus and new culinary concepts
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
- Oversee food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures in compliance with health regulations
- Prepare high-quality dishes consistently while maintaining presentation standards
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained and operated safely
- Support training and development of team members to foster a collaborative work environment
- Serve as a leader during service hours, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer experience
- Monitor food quality and consistency across all dishes served
Skills
- Ideally you have supervising experience within a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
- Proven leadership and team management abilities in fast-paced settings
- Excellent understanding of kitchen operations, food handling, and hospitality standards
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail

- Minimum of five years of experience working in a kitchen
