Summary
'We are seeking a skilled Owner Operator to join our team in the United States. This role is vital in ensuring timely deliveries across ON to PA/OH/NY lanes, supporting our commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence. The position is based in the US and offers an exciting opportunity for experienced drivers to thrive with a reputable company.' This is primarily Intermodal container work.
Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers safely and efficiently across designated lanes from Ontario to Pennsylvania, Ohio, and New York.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles daily to ensure safety and compliance.
- Manage freight loading and unloading processes with precision.
- Maintain accurate logs of all trips and adhere to federal and state regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate deliveries.
- Ensure timely pick-up and delivery of goods while maintaining high safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Uphold company safety policies and promote a culture of safety on the road.
- Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
- Proven experience operating tractor-trailers.
- Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, and Containers .
- Strong knowledge of US transportation regulations.
- Excellent driving record with no recent violations.
- Ability to manage time effectively across long-distance routes.
- Good communication skills for coordination with dispatch and clients.
- Physical ability to load/unload freight as needed.
