Concrete Masters Construction Inc. is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Slinger Truck Driver (DZ Licensed) to join our growing team serving Ottawa and the surrounding area. We are a fast-growing residential foundation and construction company specializing in custom homes and large-scale developments. We take pride in professionalism, teamwork, and quality workmanship. Position Overview As a Slinger Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting and placing aggregates on residential and commercial job sites using a slinger. In addition to slinger truck operation, the successful candidate will also be required to operate our Ford F-750 16’ flatbed truck for jobsite material deliveries. This position involves some hands-on physical work, primarily related to the Ford F-750 flatbed delivery role. The successful candidate must be comfortable assisting with the loading, unloading, securing, and rigging of construction materials and equipment for transport and delivery to job sites. This position offers the opportunity for more consistent hours. Candidates willing and able to operate both the slinger truck and flatbed truck can expect approximately 30–40 hours per week, depending on workload and season. Responsibilities - Safely operate and maintain a slinger truck - Operate a Ford F-750 16’ flatbed truck for material deliveries to job sites - Pick up materials from designated quarries based on project needs and job location - Deliver and accurately place materials on residential and commercial job sites - Complete and issue operator tickets for all jobs to outside clients - Ensure operator tickets are completed accurately with job details, hours, and materials delivered - Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain equipment cleanliness - Communicate effectively with dispatch, site supervisors, and customers - Assist with the loading, unloading, securing, and rigging of materials and equipment for flatbed deliveries to job sites - Follow all workplace safety and transportation regulations - Represent the company professionally on customer job sites Requirements - Valid DZ Driver’s License (required) - 2 years experience operating a slinger truck is considered a strong asset - Experience operating flatbed or heavy trucks is an asset - Clean driver’s abstract - Construction industry experience is considered an asset - Comfortable using a smartphone/tablet to complete and send digital operator tickets - Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude - Ability to work flexible hours during busy construction periods What We Offer - Competitive hourly wage based on experience - Company benefit plan - Opportunity for 30–40 hours per week for candidates able to operate both trucks - Supportive and professional work environment - Opportunity for long-term growth with a growing company Location: Ottawa and Surrounding Area Job Type: Full-Time If you are a dependable DZ driver looking to join a professional and growing company, we would love to hear from you.
