Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental hygiene assessments, including medical and dental histories
- Provide high-quality preventive care, including professional cleanings, scaling and root planing, and fluoride treatments
- Educate patients of all ages on proper brushing, flossing, and dietary habits
- Capture diagnostic images, including bitewing, panoramic (panorex), and periapical X-rays
- Assist the dentist in developing and discussing appropriate treatment plans
- Ensure proper infection control and sterilization of instruments
- Accurately maintain patient records and clinical documentation
- Capture digital impressions and photographs using intraoral scanners for treatment planning

Qualifications and Experience
- Registered Dental Hygienist license in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)
- Dental hygienist experience is considered an asset; however recent graduates are welcome to apply
- Experience working with ClearDent is considered an asset
- Familiarity with CEREC, Primescan, Primeprint, or other digital technology is considered an asset
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and dental hygiene best practices
- Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and technologies
