Project / Position Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Program/Project Manager, Cybersecurity to provide overall planning, coordination, governance, reporting, risk management, and delivery oversight throughout the duration of the program. The Program Manager will lead and coordinate a multi-year cybersecurity maturity and transformation program. The Program Manager will be responsible for overall program planning, governance, coordination, reporting, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and delivery oversight across multiple concurrent cybersecurity initiatives.
Responsibilities / Deliverables:
The Sr. Program/Project Manager responsibilities/deliverables may include, but may not be limited to:
- Develop and maintain an integrated program plan and roadmap.
- Establish and manage program governance structures and reporting mechanisms.
- Coordinate activities across internal teams, vendors, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Manage program schedules, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items.
- Facilitate steering committee, working group, and stakeholder meetings.
- Monitor program progress and provide regular status reporting to leadership.
- Support procurement, implementation, and transition-to-operations activities as required.
- Ensure alignment of project activities with program objectives and organizational priorities.
- Support organizational change management and stakeholder communications.
- Effective governance and oversight of the cybersecurity maturity program.
- Coordination and alignment across multiple concurrent initiatives and stakeholders.
- Successful transition of completed initiatives into operational support and sustainment.
Experience / Skills Requirements:
The Sr. Program/Project Manager should have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
1. Degree, Diploma or equivalent combination of training and experience in related field.
2. 10+ years in Program/Project management: extensive experience in program or project management, including leading , or initiatives.
3. Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and enterprise security domains sufficient to effectively coordinate and oversee technical security initiatives across areas such as , , , , , and .
4. Demonstrated ability to manage complex, interdependent programs involving multiple , and
5. Highly proactive and self-directed approach, with strong capability in anticipating risks, identifying issues early, and driving resolution without requiring close supervision.
6. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
7. Experience working in complex, regulated environments is required; or experience is considered an asset.
8. Demonstrated experience supporting or delivering cybersecurity or technology transformation programs in enterprise environments is an asset.
9. Proven experience in stakeholder management and engagement at senior and executive levels, with excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business and governance reporting.
