Job Overview
The Container Guy is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Office Bookkeeper to join our team full-time in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment and is comfortable handling bookkeeping, administrative support, customer communication, and assisting the sales team when needed.
Duties
- Perform daily data entry and maintain accurate records
- Reconcile bank statements, invoices, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Assist with bookkeeping and basic accounting tasks
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (QuickBooks)
- Answer phones and respond to customer inquiries professionally
- Support the sales team with quotes, order processing, and customer follow-up
- Maintain organized filing systems and office documentation
- Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and internal tracking documents
- Assist with inventory and purchase order record keeping
- Coordinate shipping paperwork and customer documentation as required
- Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments
- General office administration and support duties
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in bookkeeping, office administration, or accounting support preferred
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and reconciliation procedures
- Strong computer skills, including experience with computerized spreadsheets
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and general office softwares
- Experience with accounting or ERP systems, such as QuickBooks
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, professional, and self-motivated
- Experience supporting sales or customer service teams is an asset
