Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care across various settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home care environments. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics and seniors. The RN will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care in acute care, hospital, nursing home, assisted living, or home care settings.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately following physician orders and safety protocols.
- Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document medical information using electronic health records such as Epic or Cerner.
- Assist with pain management strategies and coordinate case management services for complex cases.
- Perform phlebotomy procedures and laboratory testing as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medication regimens, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Work with pediatric and senior populations, including dementia care and working with children in various healthcare environments.
- Maintain compliance with medical terminology standards and healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
Skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner.
- Extensive hospital experience or nursing home experience preferred; experience in acute care or pain management is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and laboratory procedures.
- Experience working with pediatric patients, seniors, or individuals requiring dementia or senior care is desirable.
- Ability to perform phlebotomy and assist with laboratory testing accurately.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Compassionate approach to patient care with attention to detail in documentation and treatment plans.

Pay: $40.00-$70.00 per hour
