We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated First Aid Instructor to provide comprehensive training sessions on emergency response and basic medical procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospital settings and a strong understanding of patient care, medical terminology, and medication administration. This role involves instructing individuals on essential first aid techniques, ensuring they are prepared to respond effectively in emergencies. Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and informative first aid training courses to diverse groups of participants
- Demonstrate proper techniques for CPR, wound care, and emergency response procedures
- Assess participants’ understanding through practical exercises and assessments
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical protocols, first aid standards, and safety regulations
- Prepare training materials, manuals, and visual aids to enhance learning experiences
- Ensure all training sessions adhere to health and safety guidelines and institutional policies
- Provide guidance on medication administration when relevant, emphasizing safety and best practices
- Support participants with hands-on practice while ensuring safety during heavy lifting or physically demanding activities
Skills
- Proven experience in hospital settings or patient care environments
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and emergency procedures
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to instruct and motivate learners effectively
- Ability to demonstrate techniques clearly and safely during practical exercises
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and assisting participants during hands-on training activities
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to various learning styles
- Certification in first aid instruction or related medical training is preferred but not required; relevant experience is essential
