Job Title: Scrap Yard – Yard Worker / Wheel loader / Excavator

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Worker to join our scrap yard team. The successful candidate will assist with sorting, processing, loading, and unloading recyclable metal materials while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Candidate may be required to run machinery.
Responsibilities
- Sort and separate ferrous and non-ferrous metals and other recyclable materials.
- Load and unload trucks using equipment or manual labor as required.
- Assist customers and suppliers delivering scrap materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard.
- Inspect materials and report any safety hazards or unusual items.
- Perform general labor and other duties as assigned.
- Operate wheel loaders (Will Train)
- Operate Excavator (Will Train)
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and attention to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
