Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Automotive Sales Associate to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will excel in outside sales, possess excellent negotiation skills, and have a strong background in retail sales. This role involves engaging with customers, managing the sales pipeline, and supporting high-end vehicle sales. The Automotive Sales Associate will play a key role in driving dealership growth through exceptional customer service, strategic upselling, and effective communication.
Duties
- Engage with prospective customers through outside sales efforts and follow-up activities
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent lead generation and conversion
- Conduct high-end vehicle demonstrations and negotiations to close sales effectively
- Assist customers in selecting vehicles that meet their needs while providing detailed product information
- Upsell additional products, services, or warranties to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue
- Maintain strong communication with clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions using professional phone etiquette
- Collaborate with the sales support team to coordinate marketing efforts and promotional activities
- Utilize organizational skills to track sales activities, manage customer databases, and follow up on leads
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales process, ensuring a positive experience
Experience
- Previous dealership experience or retail sales background preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Proven success in outside sales, negotiation, and managing a sales pipeline
- Strong communication skills combined with excellent organizational abilities are essential for success in this role
- Familiarity with marketing strategies related to automotive sales and customer engagement is a plus
- Ability to demonstrate excellent math skills for calculating payments, financing options, and deal structures

Pay: $70,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
