Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Supervisor with an experience of 5-6 years in Single Family Residential to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily site operations, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining project quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to effectively communicate with team members, subcontractors, and clients. The Construction Site Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Duties
- Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules
- Coordinate with subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Monitor safety protocols and enforce OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with blueprints, schematics, and specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents accurately
- Manage project budgets by tracking expenses and controlling costs effectively
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 for planning, documentation, and reporting
- Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure work meets quality standards
- Prepare progress reports and communicate project status to stakeholders regularly
- Assist in construction estimating and scheduling as needed
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience of 5-6 years in single family residential construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and other relevant tools
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction documents with precision
- Experience with quality control processes and safety regulations (OSHA compliance)
- Skilled in budgeting, cost control, and construction estimating
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams simultaneously
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and team members
- Knowledge of construction scheduling techniques using Primavera P6 or similar tools
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in project documentation and reporting
