Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling tailored to client preferences
- Deliver excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering personalized recommendations
- Maintain strict sanitation and cleanliness standards in all work areas and tools to ensure client safety
- Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance the client experience and increase salon revenue
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term relationships
- Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and product knowledge to provide innovative services
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a hairstylist with a strong portfolio of work
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols within a salon environment
- Ability to perform various hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, and styling
- Experience in retail sales or upselling services is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Previous experience working at the front desk or handling administrative tasks is a plus
- Valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state regulations
