This position is fully on-site at a large manufacturing facility in northwest Winnipeg and offers a balanced mix of office and warehouse-floor responsibilities. Approximately 50% of your time will be spent performing administrative and customer service duties, while the remaining 50% will involve hands-on inventory management and material handling activities.
What You'll Do
As an Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for our customer while ensuring inventory accuracy and product availability. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing inventory replenishment, cycle counts, audits, and stock organization
- Receiving, moving, storing, and putting away inventory as required
- Tracking parts and inventory transactions
- Quoting and sourcing parts to meet customer requirements
- Expediting orders and managing inventory levels to prevent shortages
- Providing technical product and part information to customers
- Entering orders and maintaining accurate system records
- Running reports and analyzing inventory and sales data
- Building strong customer relationships through daily on-site support
- Proactively identifying opportunities to improve service and grow the business
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer issues and ensure timely delivery
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical thinking and strong organizational abilities
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
- Mechanical aptitude; technical training or a related degree is considered an asset
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment
- Ability to repetitively lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to start work at 6:30 a.m.
