Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Ice Cream Store Manager to lead our team and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, food industry environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, food handling expertise, and a passion for hospitality. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The Ice Cream Store Manager will play a key role in driving sales, supervising team members, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the store.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations, including food preparation, serving, and cash handling using Clover POS systems
- Supervise and train staff on food safety, food handling, and customer service standards
- Manage team scheduling, interviewing, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated work environment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food industry standards and restaurant management
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organization within the store and kitchen areas
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction
- Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining product quality
- Lead by example in hospitality, leadership, and team management to promote a positive work culture
Qualifications
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety protocols
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Experience in supervising teams within the food industry or restaurant environment
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest interactions professionally
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, food handling procedures, and hospitality standards
- Leadership qualities with experience in interviewing, training, and team management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
