Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Manager in Training. This entry-level leadership role offers an excellent opportunity to develop essential management skills within a fast-paced retail environment. As a Manager in Training, you will gain hands-on experience in store operations, team management, and sales strategies, preparing you for future leadership positions.
Duties
- Assist with daily store operations including merchandising, pricing, and inventory management
- Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new team members
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Manage cash handling procedures, cashiering, and POS transactions accurately
- Contribute to sales management by implementing marketing strategies and promotional activities
- Support training and development initiatives for staff to enhance team performance
- Assist with payroll processing, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks such as scheduling and record keeping
- Participate in budgeting activities and monitor store expenses to meet financial goals
- Supervise team members during shifts, providing leadership and guidance to ensure operational efficiency
- Uphold store policies and procedures while maintaining a positive shopping environment
- Opening and or closing hours. Holidays and weekends are a must
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or team management experience preferred; retail sales or store management experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and organizational abilities
- Bilingual Arabic to serve diverse customer bases
- Proficiency in POS systems, merchandising, pricing strategies, and cash handling procedures
- Demonstrated ability in negotiation, marketing, and sales management techniques
- Experience with recruiting, interviewing, training & development, and budgeting processes
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Administrative experience including bookkeeping, math skills, and record keeping is advantageous
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment
