Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role requires strong communication skills, efficiency in food and beverage service, and the ability to manage multiple tables while maintaining a positive attitude.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment highly preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for billing, totaling checks, and cash handling
- Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and guests
- Hospitality experience or background in the food industry is a plus
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
