Job Overview
Swing City Indoor Golf Lounge has an immediate need for a dynamic, customer-focused Part-Time Server / Simulator Attendant to join the team at our upscale venue located at 109-364 8th Street in downtown Courtenay, BC. This role blends traditional food and beverage service with technology-driven guest entertainment, ensuring patrons have an exceptional time utilizing our state-of-the-art Trackman IO simulators and upscale sports lounge.
Key Responsibilities
- Sim Setup: Greet guests and set up Trackman IO golf simulators.
- Tech Guide: Explain simulator rules, game modes, and troubleshoot basic tech issues.
- Table Service: Take accurate food and beverage orders from the lounge menu.
- Order Delivery: Serve crafted meals, snacks, and alcoholic beverages to bay tables.
- Bay Turnover: Clear tables, clean simulator bays, and sanitize golf clubs between bookings.
- Preparing drinks: Pouring and preparing drinks as needed.
- POS Operation: Process payments, handle cash, and manage the digital point-of-sale system.
- Safety First: Maintain a safe environment and verify legal drinking age for alcohol service.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Serving It Right: Valid British Columbia Serving It Right certification required.
- Legal Age: Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcohol in BC.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable learning and operating golf simulator software and POS systems.
- Golf Knowledge: Basic understanding of golf rules and equipment is highly preferred.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to engage enthusiastically with families, pros, and casual groups.
- Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekdays, weekends and late evenings up to 11:00 PM. Please indicate shift preferences when applying.
