Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscaping Lead Hand / Crew Foreman to oversee and coordinate landscaping projects. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge in landscape maintenance, and the ability to supervise a team effectively. The ideal candidate will have a background in horticulture, gardening, irrigation, and construction, with proven supervisory experience. As a key member of our team, you will ensure high-quality work, safety compliance, and efficient project completion while fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise landscaping crews to complete projects on time and within scope
- Coordinate daily tasks such as planting, pruning, lawn care, irrigation installation, and general garden maintenance
- Oversee the operation of landscape equipment and ensure proper use and safety procedures are followed
- Assist with the installation of irrigation systems and other landscape features
- Monitor project progress and communicate updates to clients and management
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and environmental regulations
- Provide mentorship and training to crew members to improve skills and productivity
- Manage material inventory and order supplies as needed
- Perform quality control inspections to ensure work meets company standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture, or related fields
- Supervising or leadership experience in a landscaping or construction environment
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, landscape installation, and general horticultural practices
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining safety standards
- Construction experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Valid driver’s license preferred for transportation between job sites

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
