We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in meal preparation and plating to ensure presentation excellence
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage
- Support the head chef or kitchen manager in daily operations and inventory management
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Serve dishes efficiently while maintaining high customer service standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen workflow during busy hours
Experience
- Prior restaurant experience or kitchen experience is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety protocols
- Experience with food handling, meal preparation, and serving in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with the food industry standards for cleanliness, safety, and quality control
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of food service operations and customer satisfaction principles
