About Orachon Thai Massage & Wellness
Orachon Thai Massage & Wellness is a professional and welcoming massage clinic known for authentic Thai hospitality, exceptional client care, and a clean, relaxing environment.
We are looking for a dependable, personable, and hardworking Spa Attendant to support our clinic throughout the month of August. This is an important behind-the-scenes role that helps ensure our clients and therapists enjoy a clean, organized, comfortable, and well-maintained spa.
Schedule
The successful candidate must be available (some flexibility to be discussed) for the following regular schedule:
- Tuesday: 12:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Wednesday: 12:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Friday: 12:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Saturday: 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Sunday: 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Approximately 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean, sanitize, and reset massage treatment rooms between appointments
- Ensure treatment rooms are properly prepared with clean linens, towels, supplies, and other required items
- Collect, wash, dry, fold, organize, and restock laundry throughout the day
- Clean and maintain reception areas, hallways, washrooms, staff areas, and other common spaces
- Empty garbage and recycling and ensure all areas remain neat and presentable
- Monitor cleaning, laundry, and spa supplies and notify management when items need to be reordered
- Assist with light maintenance and minor tasks to keep the clinic operating smoothly
- Identify and report broken equipment, damage, safety concerns, or maintenance issues
- Help maintain a calm, professional, and welcoming atmosphere for clients
- Greet or assist clients courteously when needed
- Support therapists and front-desk staff with general clinic needs
- Complete opening, closing, and daily cleaning checklists
- Perform other reasonable duties required to support clinic operations
Qualifications
- Entry-level applicants are welcome
- Previous experience in a spa, clinic, hotel, laundry, housekeeping, cleaning, or customer-service role is an asset
- Responsible, reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Personable, respectful, and comfortable interacting with clients and staff
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
- Able to organize tasks and respond quickly during busy periods
- Willing to take initiative and notice what needs to be done without constant supervision
- Able to follow cleaning, sanitation, laundry, and workplace safety procedures
- Able to handle confidential client and workplace information professionally
- Must be available for the full scheduled period during August
Physical Requirements
This position requires regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying. The successful candidate must be comfortable:
- Remaining active throughout an eight-hour shift
- Carrying laundry baskets, supplies, and garbage
- Moving light furniture or treatment-room items when required
- Repeatedly bending, reaching, and using stairs
- Working in a warm laundry environment
