Bookkeeper / admin Assistant
Job Overview:
Salary hourly starts at $25.00, plus bonuses, commuting benefits to other locations beside head office, some civic holidays included.
After a year, extended health benefits are provided
As a bookkeeper admin assistant, you will provide support in various operational supportive and administrative tasks, from assisting clients at reception, assist with invoicing, payroll, customer refunds, admin reports, assist with supplier ordering etc.. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, comfortable on the phones, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment independently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry to keep accurate records, (payroll, bookkeeping, office reports, inventory etc..)
- Managing QuickBooks online tasks and processes
- Assist with filing and organizing documents
- Support office operations by ordering supplies and maintaining inventory
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars, picking up supplies and reports
- Helping with reports, marketing and advertising
- Assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable and send efts on a weekly basis
- Ensure smooth flow of task organization, and follow up reminders
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Cover shifts on emergency or needed basis
- Assist upper management in all additional tasks required
Skills:
- Comfortable , extroverted sales abilities on the phones to connect with customers
- Strong typing skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with computerized filing systems, organized and time managed.
- Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently
- Knowledge of Quickbooks online 2 years min, Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
