We are currently hiring for Business Analysts to participate as a part of SCRUM teams to help with design, development, commissioning and support of our advanced production management and analytics suite of software. Your main tasks will include performing detailed business and technical requirements gathering and analysis, documenting processes, performing user acceptance testing, conduct training, and support commissioning and roll outs. You will be a part of an Agile team of engineers, developers and designers.
To succeed in this role, you must be logic driven, analytical and a quick learner. You should be able to think outside the box and be able to prioritize tasks and deliver time-sensitive items.
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with external and internal stakeholders to evaluate business processes, technical and functional requirements, areas of improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
- Translates conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team
- Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team
- Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
- Performing user acceptance testing.
- Manages and tracks the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary
- Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Provide post-project implementation support
- Providing front-end and back-end support to clients and analyzing, investigating, resolving client issues
- Establishing root cause of application errors and escalating appropriately to the development teams
- Performing analyses on software application functionality and suggesting improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Software Development or appropriate technical field
- 1 – 2 years of experience with data mapping, data conversion or data integration projects
- 1 – 2 years of experience with business and technical requirements analysis, modeling, verification and methodology development
- 1 year of experience with relational databases and SQL
- Ability to work independently and display creativity, exercise sound judgement, demonstrate initiative, and possess excellent written and oral communication skills
- Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Understanding of project management concepts
- A track record of following through on commitments.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Candidates must have a valid G license(or provincial equivalent) and must be eligible to travel to the United States.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
