PROFESSIONAL OVERVIEW
Infinity Health is Canada's largest First Nations-owned provider of rehabilitation services. We are currently seeking Occupational Therapists to join our British Columbia team. Our practice model is specifically designed to prioritize clinical intervention and functional outcomes over administrative and insurance-related burdens.
While we maintain professional relationships with traditional fee-payers such as ICBC, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), and WorkSafeBC (WCB), our practice is distinguished by our proprietary clinical programming. These programs allow our clinicians to address the real-world functional needs of the general public through evidence-based, results-oriented treatment models. We invite prospective candidates to review our national service offerings under the "Programs" tab at www.infinityhealth.ca.
THE NATIONAL ADVANTAGE: INTERDISCIPLINARY COLLABORATION
As part of a national clinical model, our British Columbia team benefits from a vast network of interdisciplinary resources and expertise. We foster a collaborative environment where our clinicians can access support across provincial lines:
- Medical Integration: Direct access to our national team of six physicians and specialized medical experts.
- Multidisciplinary Support: Work alongside a diverse chain of clinics featuring Physiotherapists and other rehabilitation experts across BC, Alberta, and Ontario.
- Resource Sharing: Our model allows clinicians to utilize specialized resources and clinical knowledge from our various locations—such as integrating medical insights from our Alberta-based physicians into BC-based treatment planning.
CLINICAL SCOPE & ENVIRONMENT
We provide a diverse practice environment that balances clinical autonomy with collaborative support. Our Occupational Therapists manage a hybrid caseload consisting of:
- Office-Based Intervention: Focused clinical sessions within our local office spaces.
- Community & Home-Based Care: Delivering services within the client's natural environment.
- Virtual Health: Utilizing secure platforms to maintain continuity of care.
MENTORSHIP & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Our mentorship/training program is like another practicum, however this time you are paid! We don’t expect you to take on a caseload until you have been trained for 4-6 weeks with our team of Senior OTs.
We recognize the value of on-the-job training and understand your degree may not come with the set of skills required to work here. Infinity Health is committed to the long-term clinical development of our staff. We offer a structured mentorship program led by dedicated Clinical Leads in three core disciplines: Mental Health, Physical Rehabilitation, and Cognitive/Neuro-Rehabilitation.
New Graduates are encouraged to apply. Our mentorship infrastructure is designed to facilitate a seamless transition into private practice, providing the support necessary to develop specialized clinical expertise and a strong professional brand.
