Responsibilities
- Perform haircuts, shaves, and other grooming services according to client preferences and current trends.
- Sanitate tools and workstations in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations.
- Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance the client experience.
- Maintain an organized front desk area, managing appointments and walk-ins efficiently.
- Foster a positive atmosphere by building rapport with clients and providing excellent customer service.
- Stay updated on the latest hair styling techniques and trends to offer clients the best options available.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Barber or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
- Strong skills in hair styling, cutting techniques, and grooming services.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience in retail sales and upselling is a plus.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the workspace.
- A valid barbering license as required by state regulations is mandatory.
