Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Server and Kitchen Hand to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the food industry, providing hands-on experience in both customer service and kitchen operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to guests while assisting in food preparation and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Serve food and beverages to customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Assist in food preparation and meal assembly, supporting chefs and kitchen staff as needed
- Handle food safely and hygienically, adhering to all food safety standards and regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and workstations throughout shifts
- Support in basic cooking tasks under supervision, including ingredient prep and plating
- Restock supplies and ensure all utensils, dishes, and equipment are clean and organized
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly and professionally
- Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is advantageous but not required
- Familiarity with food handling, meal preparation, and basic cooking techniques is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards within the food industry is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude are essential for delivering quality service
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
