Our client is looking for a Registration Assistant to join their team for a 4-month temporary assignment supporting their busy registration and renewal season. This is an excellent opportunity for an administrative professional who enjoys working with people, managing detailed information, and contributing to a collaborative team.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Registration Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting applicants and registrants throughout the registration and renewal process. You'll be one of the first points of contact, providing professional, timely service while ensuring records and documentation are processed accurately.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to inquiries by phone and email regarding applications, renewals, and registration requirements
- Guiding applicants through registration processes and online systems
- Processing applications, renewals, documentation, and fees accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining confidential records and updating information within the registration database
- Redirecting complex inquiries to the appropriate team members
- Assisting with administrative projects and supporting the team during peak renewal periods
- Participating in team meetings and contributing ideas to improve processes and service delivery
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who enjoys helping others, has exceptional attention to detail, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.
You'll be successful if you have:
- A minimum of 2 years of administrative or customer service experience
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- A professional, friendly, and patient approach when working with the public
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience working with databases or CRM systems is considered an asset
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team
