Overview
We are seeking a friendly, mature, professional individual to provide help and assistance at the front desk for our amazing clients and patients.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival, providing exceptional customer service
- Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, and manage client inquiries promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories as needed
- Process payments and handle billing transactions efficiently
- Assist with laboratory tasks when necessary, including sample collection and processing (laboratory experience preferred)
- Coordinate communication between clients and veterinary staff to ensure seamless care delivery
- Manage inventory of office supplies and veterinary products to ensure availability
- Support veterinary team with administrative duties to enhance clinic operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in a veterinary or medical reception role is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate approach toward clients and animals
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and veterinary management software
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in veterinary assisting is a plus
Pay: $17.50-$20.00 per hour
