About the Role
Evidentia Security Experts Corp (ESEC) is currently expanding our team and looking to hire 10 Casual and Event Security Guards to serve Bathurst and the surrounding Acadian Peninsula.

No prior security experience is necessary, as we welcome entry-level candidates who possess the right attitude and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a highly visible, professional security presence at various events and sites across the Acadian Peninsula and Bathurst.
- Monitor crowd behaviors and ensure the safety and security of event attendees, staff, and property.
- Perform access control duties, including checking credentials, tickets, or IDs.
- De-escalate situations calmly and professionally, notifying local authorities when necessary.
- Conduct foot patrols of assigned indoor or outdoor areas.
- Write clear, concise, and accurate incident reports if security breaches or emergencies occur.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting the public and answering general inquiries.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Provincial Licensing: Must possess or have the ability to successfully obtain a New Brunswick Provincial Security License.
- Background Check: Must be able to pass a comprehensive criminal background check.
- Transportation: A reliable personal vehicle is required to travel to various event locations across Bathurst and the Acadian Peninsula.
- Work Eligibility: Must have valid immigration status and be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a high level of reliability and punctuality.
Compensation & Perks
- Hourly Pay: $16.00 to $17.00 per hour, depending on the specific event and assignment.
- Travel Compensation: Possible mileage or gas reimbursement component, depending on the specific work location and distance traveled.
- Flexibility: Casual scheduling that works great around other commitments.
