Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and proper handling of linens, towels, and other laundry items to ensure a high standard of guest service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and efficiency are essential. Prior hotel experience is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn.
Duties
- Operate laundry machines and equipment safely and efficiently to process linens, towels, and guest clothing
- Sort, fold, and organize laundry items according to established standards
- Ensure all laundry is cleaned, pressed, and stored properly for distribution
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, including washing stations and storage spaces
- Assist with inventory management of linens and supplies
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or damage
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to meet daily laundry needs promptly
- Adhere to hygiene standards and ensure proper handling of all laundry items
Experience
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with laundry processes and cleaning procedures is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of safety practices related to laundry equipment and cleaning chemicals
