Position Summary
We are seeking a Landscape Foreman to lead our installation crew. This is a senior, hands‑on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily site operations, ensuring high‑quality installations, and guiding technicians through irrigation, horticulture, hardscape, and equipment‑based tasks. You will work closely with the Landscape laborer's and represent the company’s standards on every job site. This role is ideal for someone with strong landscaping experience who is ready to lead a small, high‑performing team.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise installation crews on residential and commercial projects
- Install and repair irrigation systems
- Install paver patios, walkways, retaining features, and other hardscape elements
- Plant traditional and xeriscape gardens
- Coordinate daily tasks, delegate work, and maintain workflow efficiency
- Ensure job sites meet company standards for quality, safety, and cleanliness
- Communicate with clients professionally when required
- Maintain and operate hand tools, power equipment, and heavy equipment
- Perform basic truck and trailer checks (oil, fluids, etc.)
- Safely drive and maneuver a truck and trailer (backing, dumping, parking)
- Operate excavator and skid steer safely and efficiently
- Complete daily reporting and communicate progress to management
- Mentor junior staff and support cross‑training between installation and maintenance
Qualifications
- Previous landscaping, horticulture, or turf care experience required (3 year minimum)
- Leadership or crew‑supervision experience required
- Equipment operating experience required
- Ability to drive large truck and trailer combinations
- Strong understanding of irrigation, hardscape installation, and plant material
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to lead effectively in a multi‑disciplinary team
- IIABC certification an asset
- Heavy trailer endorsement or Class 3 license an asset
- Skid steer or excavator experience is required
Working Conditions
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Willing to work overtime when required
- Physically able to lift up to 22.5 kg
- Ability to bend, squat, kneel, push, pull, and walk for extended periods
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
