Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive repair processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior dealership experience and mechanical knowledge are highly valued for this position.
Duties
- Repair and replace damaged vehicle panels, frames, and body parts using various hand and power tools
- Perform dent removal, sanding, filling, and painting to restore vehicles to factory standards
- Utilize diagnostic tools to assess vehicle damage and determine appropriate repair procedures
- Conduct inspections to ensure repairs meet safety and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to complete repairs within designated timeframes
- Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations during repair processes
Requirements
- Previous dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and body components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) as needed during repairs
- Experience with automotive painting, dent removal, and frame straightening is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Prior mechanic experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- Valid driver’s license is preferred but not required
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
