Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. This position requires a commitment to educating and supporting the development of children, including those with disabilities, while promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning.
- Educate children through play-based activities, hands-on experiences, and structured lessons.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
- Demonstrate leadership in classroom management and foster teamwork among staff.
- Utilize technology (Kindertales) effectively for lesson planning, communication, and record-keeping.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Skills
- Strong ability to educate young children in a classroom setting.
- Experience working with children, especially those with disabilities.
- Excellent time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication in English; bilingual skills are a plus.
- Leadership qualities to guide both students and fellow educators.
- Familiarity with computerized tools for lesson planning and administrative tasks.
- A nurturing attitude combined with patience and understanding towards children's needs.
