We are currently seeking a dedicated part-time Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The Staff Accountant will play an essential role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial records. Activities will be focused on the daily bank reconciliation processes plus additional related activities as required.
This is an in-office, part-time position, Monday to Friday, 20-24 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations relating to bank reconciliation activities and other balance sheet account reconciliation, ensuring their accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial information and support decision-making processes.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Advanced knowledge with MS Excel—including v-Lookups and pivot tables. Willing to dive in and analyze data with success.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various teams across the organization.
