About the role
A Peace River family is looking for a reliable, friendly person to keep our home running smoothly. Housekeeping is the main job, about 3.5 days a week, with some errands, driving, and occasional pet sitting mixed in. No formal training needed. What matters most is that you are dependable, take pride in a clean home, and are easy to have around.
What you'll do
Housekeeping (the main part of the job)
- Regular cleaning on scheduled days: tidying, dishes, laundry, bathrooms, floors, and bedding.
- Keep living areas clean, organized, and welcoming.
Errands
- Grocery pickup, dry cleaning, packages, and household items as needed.
Driving
- Drive family members to and from the gym and appointments.
- Wait nearby or run a quick errand during appointments.
Pet care
- Care for our friendly family dog when we travel, paid at $50/day.
What we're looking for
- Valid Class 5 licence and a clean driving record.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Friendly, trustworthy, and discreet.
- Comfortable working on your own.
- A reliable personal vehicle, with gas covered by us.
- No formal experience required.
Hours and schedule
- About 3.5 days a week , roughly 20-30 hours per week.
- Some flexibility helps for the occasional evening or weekend when we travel.
Location: In person at a private residence in Peace River. Some local driving and errands.
Light paperwork, including a short confidentiality agreement, is handled at the interview stage.
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
