Position Overview:
The Housekeeping Room Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring that guest rooms are clean, comfortable, and ready for new arrivals. The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, providing an excellent guest experience, and supporting the overall housekeeping department in its daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and Prepare Guest Rooms:
- Clean and service guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and restocking amenities.
- Ensure that bathrooms are sanitized, replenished with fresh towels, and equipped with toiletries.
- Remove trash, change linens, and replace towels as needed.
- Maintain Cleanliness and Hygiene Standards:
- Follow health and safety guidelines for cleanliness and sanitation.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used in accordance with safety standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
- Guest Satisfaction:
- Address guest requests for additional items such as extra towels, pillows, or toiletries.
- Provide friendly, courteous, and prompt service to guests when needed.
- Inventory Management:
- Keep track of inventory and report any missing or damaged items.
- Restock cleaning supplies and ensure appropriate levels are maintained.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with other housekeeping team members to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments to address guest needs or maintenance issues.
- Special Requests & Services:
- Assist with other housekeeping duties, such as cleaning public areas, when needed.
- Maintain Work Area:
- Ensure housekeeping carts and equipment are properly maintained, organized, and stocked.
- Ensure that the guest rooms are locked and secure when cleaning is completed.
Minimum Requirement
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time up to 8 hours a day.
- Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed accuracy, follow through, and work with a minimum supervision.
- Ability to grasp, bend, and stoop; push or pull heavy loads weighing up to 30 lbs.

Pay: $16.83-$18.95 per hour
