About the Role
The Administrative Coordinator, Equity & Social Accountability supports the operational, administrative, and strategic priorities of the School of Medicine within a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The role contributes to advancing inclusive and accessible practices by coordinating events, committee activities, financial processes, and administrative operations that support the School’s equity and social accountability initiatives. Working closely with senior leadership, faculty, staff, and community partners, the Coordinator helps ensure effective operations, strong stakeholder engagement, and high-quality service delivery. Key upcoming initiatives include supporting equity-focused programming and events, enhancing operational processes, and contributing to the development of inclusive policies, systems, and practices across the School.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. They bring strong administrative, financial, and project coordination skills, along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Success in this role requires sound judgment, discretion, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential information with care. The candidate should be collaborative, adaptable, and skilled at building positive relationships with diverse stakeholders. A demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and accessibility, along with a proactive approach to process improvement, is essential.
