Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Foreman in landscaping to lead and oversee our landscaping projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of horticulture, irrigation, and landscape maintenance, and the ability to supervise a team effectively. This role involves managing daily operations on-site, ensuring quality standards are met, and coordinating various landscaping activities to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate landscaping crews to ensure project completion on time and within scope
- Manage irrigation systems installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure optimal water efficiency
- Lead gardening and horticultural activities to enhance the aesthetic appeal of landscapes
- Ensure safety protocols are followed by all team members during construction and landscaping activities
- Collaborate with clients and project managers to plan and execute landscape designs effectively
- Monitor project progress, report on milestones, and troubleshoot any issues that arise during work
- Provide training and mentorship to team members to improve skills and productivity
- Install paver patios and retaining walls.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in landscaping or related construction fields
- Strong knowledge of horticulture, gardening techniques, and landscape maintenance practices
- Experience with irrigation system installation and repair is highly desirable
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of managing teams effectively
- Familiarity with construction processes related to outdoor projects is a plus
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
- Hardscaping experience of 5 years plus is a requirement
- Clean drivers license
- Capable of operating machinery
- Drive truck and trailer.

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
