Business Development Specialist

Total Compensation: $55,000–$123,000 per year, including base salary, uncapped commission and profit-sharing potential
Logilink Solutions is looking for a driven Business Development Specialist to bring in new clients and build long-term business relationships.
We provide staffing and workforce solutions for logistics, transportation, warehousing, manufacturing, production, assembly lines, general labour and operational support. Our services include recruitment, onboarding, payroll, HR administration, scheduling and ongoing workforce coordination.
What You’ll Do
- Find and develop new B2B clients through calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking and in-person meetings.
- Connect with decision-makers in HR, procurement, operations and management.
- Understand client needs and present customized workforce solutions.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline.
- Identify RFPs, RFQs, tenders and bidding opportunities and assist with submissions.
- Prepare proposals, pricing and presentations.
- Work with recruitment, payroll, HR and operations teams to launch and grow client accounts.
What You Bring
- At least two years of B2B sales or business development experience.
- Confidence generating leads and approaching new clients.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- A motivated, organized and results-focused approach.
- Experience in staffing, logistics, warehousing or manufacturing is an asset.
- Experience with RFPs, RFQs, tenders or procurement portals is a strong asset.
- Valid Ontario G driver’s licence and ability to attend client meetings.
