Job Summary
Power Vape is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing exceptional customer service, building strong customer relationships, and maintaining a welcoming retail environment. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will assist customers with product selection, process transactions, maintain store presentation standards, and contribute to overall sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist customers in selecting products that best meet their needs and preferences.
- Provide accurate product information and answer customer inquiries.
- Process sales transactions efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sales floor.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with receiving, stocking, and merchandising products.
- Verify customer age and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding vape product sales.
- Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally.
- Promote current sales, promotions, and loyalty programs.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store sales objectives.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs when required.
- Knowledge of vaping products is an asset but not required; training will be provided.
