We are currently seeking a Veterinary Technician Assistant to join our team. We're looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate individual who enjoys working with animals, supporting their owners, and contributing to a positive, team-oriented clinic environment. Previous experience in a veterinary clinic, animal rescue, diagnostic laboratory, or another animal care setting is strongly preferred. While we are willing to train the right candidate, applicants with relevant hands-on experience will be given strong consideration.

Responsibilities
- Care for animals under the supervision of veterinarians and Registered Veterinary Technologists (RVTs)
- Assist with radiographs and patient care
- Safely restrain and comfort cats and dogs during examinations and treatments
- Clean, sterilize, and maintain kennels, surgery suites, and surgical equipment
- Perform routine cleaning, including laundry, dishes, and maintaining the treatment area
- Assist clients at reception as needed
- Use veterinary practice management software for daily tasks
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic, animal rescue, laboratory, or similar animal care environment is strongly preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of animal care and safe animal handling
- Strong organizational skills and attention to cleanliness
- Compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to providing excellent patient care
